GROVE - Adaline Nora Glover, age 71, went to be with the Lord April 23, 2007 at her residence in Grove Oklahoma. Adaline was born November 27, 1935 to Dudley C. and Hazel E. (Pritchard) Shobe in Delaware County Oklahoma. Adaline married Hemp S. Glover July 28, 1957 in Dewey Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in June of 1989. For fifteen years, Adaline worked as a LPN at JCRS Medical Center in Lakewood Colorado. After retirement in 1976, Hemp and Adaline moved back to Grove. Adaline was the ultimate "People Person", she loved helping people, she baby sat for years, loved to cook, her family really enjoyed her meatloaf. Her hobbies included fishing for crappie and catfish and crocheting. Every night you could find Adaline reading the Bible. She was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Grove and an active member of the Grove Moose Lodge after moving back to Grove. Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra Rodriguez of Eucha Oklahoma, and Kathryn Wylie of Carthage Missouri, one step-son, Alvin Glover of Guthrie Oklahoma, one grandson Wade Davis and his wife Tiffany, one great-grandson Lane Michael Davis, one sister Winnlie Brown, and one brother Jay Grover Shobe. Adaline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother Marvin Shobe. A visitation for family and friends has been scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Grace Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Deborah Meinke officiating. Interment will follow at the Olympus Cemetery in Grove Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Ellis Family Funeral Home. The family has requested memorial donations be sent to the Deacons of the Grace Presbyterian Church at 400 South Main, Grove, Oklahoma.
