Barbara Hardesty

Barbara Cleo Hardesty, age 74, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Barbara was the daughter of the late Virgil and Sylvia (Vorhees) Beshears. She was born on September 14, 1940 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. Barbara was united in marriage to Earl E. Hardesty who preceded her in death. Barbara worked at Integris Grove General Hospital as a nurses aide. Barbara was a devoted member of the Community of Christ Church. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, but most of all centered her life on Christ. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son Michael Eugene Hardesty. Barbara is survived by her three sons; David Earl Hardesty of Tulsa, OK, Richard Lee Hardesty of Grove, OK, Charles Edward Hardesty and his wife Rebecca of Cleveland, OK, and two daughters; Virginia Martin of Grove, OK and Diana Martin and her husband Bob of Jay, OK. Barbara was blessed with six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Community of Christ Church with Pastor Nolan Scarberry officiating.
