Bonnie Jacks

GROVE- Bonnie Marie Jacks, 69, died Thursday morning, March 29, 2007 at her home in Grove Oklahoma following a sudden illness. Bonnie was born May 18, 1937 in Okmulgee Oklahoma to Floyd Edward Chastain and Anna Dell (Churchill) Chastain. She attended Okmulgee public schools. Later Bonnie took Special Cake Decorating classes. She made wedding and special occasion cakes. Bonnie enjoyed cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, the great outdoors and fishing. Bonnie was united in marriage to Donald W. Jacks December 20, 1957 in Henryetta Oklahoma. Bonnie was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Grove Assembly of God Church. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Donnatta Lynn, two sisters and one brother. Survivors include her husband, Donald W. Jacks of the home, two daughters, Paula Kay Miller and her husband Roger of Wyandotte Oklahoma, Tina Marie DeMoss and her husband Dusty of Sulphur Springs Arkansas, two sons, James A. Jacks of Grove Oklahoma and Bobby D. Jacks and his wife Stephanie of Lanagan Missouri, two sisters Frankie Vierson and Barbara Baggs of Okmulgee Oklahoma, one brother Buddy Chastain of Romma California, nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Assembly of God Church in Grove Oklahoma, with Gerald Helms officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Nacro Fibrosis Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home of Grove Oklahoma.
