James Lloyd Frazier, age 84, died at his residence in Bernice, Oklahoma on Sunday, March 7, 2010. The son of William O. and Hazel A. (Anglin) Frazier, Jim was born on November 7, 1925. Jim attended Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For over six years, James proudly served in US Army. As a Staff Sergeant, James was a combat medic. He received an Army of Occupation Medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, European-African Middle Eastern Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, past Grand Master of the Adair Masonic Lodge, and the Shriner's Lake Rats. Jim's hobbies included fishing, cars, gardening, airplanes, Ham Radio's and spending time with his family. Jim loved playing and listening to music and was an avid fan and friend of Roy Clark. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 56 years Jane E. Frazier. Jim is survived by his wife Ferne Frazier of the home, two daughters Carol (Jerry) McGhee of Vinita, Oklahoma, Cathy (Marvin) Felkins of Jenks, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Jamie (Johnny) Spungugle of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Cheryl (Stephen) Arnall of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Jeremy (Ashli) Felkins, Aaron (Lainie) Felkins all of Owasso, Oklahoma, seven great-grandchildren, three step-sons Darrell (Kathy) Johnston of Peoria, Arizona, Jeff (Kathrine) Johnston of Eagleriver, Arkansas, and Don (Karen) Johnston of Fairland, Oklahoma. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma, with Pastor Kim Hayes officiating. The Patriot Guard and Rolling Thunder will be escorting James to Olympus Cemetery where The Grove Ritual Team will be performing Military Rites.
