Judith Nadine (Herren) Vore, age 67, died on October 6, 2008 at her daughter's residence in Grove, Oklahoma. Judith was born on October 23, 1940 to John William and Helen Beatrice (Jordan) Herren. Judith was married to Victor Ray Vore on May 2, 1959 in Augusta, Kansas. Judy worked managing the Scottsman Restaurant in Wellington, Kansas. Judy and Victor moved to the Grand Lake area in 1991. She was a member and was active in the choir of the Church of God in Vinita, Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She spent summers helping her husband with custom wheat harvest. Mowing and working in the yard, knitting and embroidering were just a few of the things she enjoyed. Judy is survived by her three children, Starla Knox and her husband Leonard of Grove, Oklahoma, Kelly Vore and his wife Angela, Toni Bowman and her husband David, and twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor in February of 2008, one brother John W. Herren and one sister Colleen J. Bollinger. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Interment will be held immediately following at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. Memorial donations can be made in memory of Judith Vore to the charity of your choice.
