Michael Mullikin

GROVE: Michael P. Mullikin, age 35, died February 27, 2007 due to injuries sustained in an accident in Joplin Missouri. Mike was born December 31, 1971 in Ventura California to Jerry Rae Mullikin and Margaret Marie Carpenter. Mike graduated high school 1990 in Jasper Missouri then attended Tadd Tech School in Kansas City Missouri. Mike was the owner of his own Heavy Equipment Construction business and was a front-end alignment specialist at Peterbuilt Industries in Joplin Missouri. Mike was a member of the Grove Masonic Lodge #187 AF&AM. Mike married the love of his life, Angela Husong, June 18, 1994 in Grove, Oklahoma. Mike is survived by his wife Angela and three children of the home, Sydney Nicole, Heidi Loinae, and Zane Michael, his mother Margaret Mullikin, his father Jerry and step-mother Judy, all of Grove Oklahoma, two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Mullikin, of Camarillo, California, and Jerry Mullikin, Jr. of Washington, two sisters, Pamela Battle of Las Vegas Nevada, and Diana Mullikin of Washington. Other survivors include special friends, Kenny and Sandy Steeves of Jasper Missouri, Leland and Karen Still of Carthage Missouri, numerous uncles and aunts. Michael was preceded in death by one brother Mitchell Mullikin. An Open Visitation will be held at Ellis Family Funeral Home Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Masonic Rites and with Ed McFall officiating. Internment will follow at Fields Cemetery. Fields Cemetery is located East of Grove on 690 Rd, south of Dodge Baptist Church. There has been a Mike Mullikin Memorial Account set up at the First National. Services have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, 107 South Broadway, Grove, OK 74344.
