Thelma Findley

Thelma Findley 94 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on July 30, 2018 at the Grove Nursing Center.

Thelma was born on February 1, 1924 in Adel, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Francis “Bud” McGill and Viola (Moore) McGill. Thelma worked as an ammunition laborer at the Navy Ammo Depot in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Findley, her daughter, Ruby Fulbright, her son Jerry Conley, three brothers; Bill McGill, Geedie McGill, and Elmer McGill, one sister; Nora Williams. She is survived by two sons; David Conley and wife Barbara of Gatesville, Texas, Rocky J. Stone and wife Brenda of Grove, Oklahoma and daughter Irene Stone ,of Commerce, Colorado, one sister Janice Davis of Graham, Washington. Thelma was blessed with 13 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Private family services will be held at a later date at Mountain Home Cemetery in Daisy, Oklahoma. Arrangements entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
