Afton, OK - Thomas F. Hansen, 86, died October 27, 2007 in Grove, Oklahoma. Tom was born September 22, 1921 in Hartford, Connecticut to Edward and Gertrude Hansen. Tom proudly served during World War II in the 393 RD Air Service Squadron, US Air Corps. He worked as a pipe fitter, plumber, welder and for the Mutual Hook & Ladder Fire Department. Tom was a member of the Elks Lodge, Eagle Lodge, Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, antique car collecting and loved playing cards with his family. Tom is survived by his first wife Mary Jane Welch, six children, David Hansen and his wife Nancy of Penn Van, New York, Doreen Hansen of East Hartford, Connecticut, Mollie Coe and her husband Robert of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Ed Hansen and his wife Karen of Newark, New York, Judy Hadsell and her husband David of Canandaigua, New York, Tom Hansen and his wife Angela of Freeman, Missouri, one brother Ray Hansen and his wife Eleanor of Sebring, Florida, fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Gertrude and five brothers, William, Howard, Donald John and Edward. Memorial services are to be held 9:30 a.m., November 10, 2007 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canandaigua, New York.
