William Bueker

William "Bill" Earl Bueker, 87 passed away on Saturday May 23, 2015 in Carthage, Missouri. Bill was born on July 9, 1927 in Newton, Kansas, he was the son of Earl and Irene (Gibson) Bueker. After serving in the United States Army during WWII, Bill obtained his bachelors degree from the University of Wichita. Bill retired from AT&T as a computer engineer. Bill enjoyed wood working, country & western dancing, etching glass, painting landscapes, reading and doing cross-word puzzles. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Louise Bueker; one brother Bobby Bueker and a grandchild Megan R. Cunningham. He is survived by two brothers Jim F. (Imy-deceased) Bueker and George R. (Lois) Bueker; Bill's children Robert W. (Barbara) Bueker of Ft. Worth, Texas, Leanne J. Bueker of Monkey Island, Oklahoma and Robin L. (Tra) St. John of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Billy (Jeanne) Pollard of Mesa, Arizona, Samuel (Betty) Pollard of Apache Junction, Arizona. Bill was blessed with 9 grandchildren; Kevin P. (Kelli) Bueker, Kurt J. (Hillary) Bueker, Adrianne N. (Cody) Gray, Christopher N. Faulk, Rene Sweeney, Jennifer Sweeney, Voitana Pollard, Gryda Pollard, Brian Pollard and seven Great Grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Ellis Family Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2015. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2015 at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Memorial donation can be made in Bill's name to the St. Jude's Foundation. Services have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. Online condolences can be left by viewing Bill's obituary at www.ellisfuneralhome.com
